Q: What is ABG Care?

A: ABG Care provides an engaging and rewarding experience that guides participants down a path to healthier lifestyle decisions and behaviors that ultimately leads to better health. Through routine and regular engagement, we enable members to achieve personal goals that increase their productivity and help reduce healthcare costs. We are dedicated to creating a culture of health and well being in which all participants can help maintain and improve their physical, emotional, and social health. This also extends to inspiring the well being of others by promoting volunteering events and charities. Our approach applies a complete engagement strategy that divides up activities into easy and meaningful ways, paired with incentive based design, encourages social motivation through community networks and allows you to use the latest mobile devices and wearables for accurate self-reporting. This means a healthier life overall and greater well-being for you!

Q: What is a wellness program?

A: Wellness programs encourage health risk prevention and promote improved health among participating members.

Q: How do we guide members on their wellness journey?

A: At ABG Care, participants are guided through a personalized wellness journey designed to help them achieve their unique health goals. Progress is tracked and displayed through a "participation score." Healthy Tokens are awarded for successfully completing activities and reaching personal goals, which accumulate to your token balance. These incentives are provided for completing health assessments, quizzes, tracking daily activities, weekly challenges, and various other interactions. Active participation becomes a fun way to earn rewards. Through the use of your personalized "Community Feed," participants can recruit support from colleages, friends and family on their journey to better health. As you earn and accumulate Healthy Tokens for completing activities, you can redeem them for an assortment of items available through the program reward mall. Q: How can ABG Care improve your overall health and wellness?

A: ABG Care helps guide you on your wellness journey by offering simple and engaging steps to better health. Healthy-game play will become part of your everyday routine. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that allows you to track your progress and create goals that will continue to motivate you. You can log-in via your computer or a mobile device (smart phone, table) using the same website address. The mobile app automatically loads and displays a simplified visual layout while still providing all site functions.

Q: How will I receive my ABG Care Log-In Credentials?

A: You will receive a message from your employer that includes an invitation via your company email address. Simply accept the invitation and begin your journey. Your default login credentials will consist of your Worldwide Employee ID and your date of birth (MMDDYYYY -- and remember, 4 digits for the year).

Q: When I log in to the site for the first time, what should I do?

A: During your first visit to the site, ABG Care requires you to personalize and change your password (you will be instructed to set a unique password to protect your account). Later, you will be prompted to provide a PIN when accessing your personal information on the "My Health" tab. This is an extra measure of security ABG Care takes to ensure your health and medical information is secure.

Q: Where do I start?

A: Once you've logged in and changed your password, you will be directed to the home page of the ABG Care site where you will see the main site content in the center and your personal dashboard to the left side. Under "My Tasks" you will find your Welcome Card, introducing you to ABG Care. Once completed, you will start the activity program, the first card being the Physical Wellness Assessment.

Q: I have finished the Physical Assessment. What do I do next?

A: Generally, completion of an assessment starts a program track that will provide educational content, tracking certain actvities, and engaging in challenges. The "My Tasks" panel shows you the most recently assigned cards. At the bottom right of the panel the "see all" link will bring you to a larger display for managing your activities.

Q: What is the home page all about?

A: This is the first place you see when you log onto the site. You will see the main health and benefits highlights posted by the company in the page center, and a series of panels on either side. The left side is your personal dashboard that shows your profile photo, access to your settings, your personal health record, and currently assigned activities or events. The right side panels focus on the site community and your personal community (connecting and communicating with others), in addition to companywide statistics on site participation. On your profile you can revise your personal data and settings, upload a photo, and provide public information about yourself. In the community snapshot, you can make new connections and communicate with people with who you have already connected.

Q: What are these three tabs that I see at the top?

A: The site is divided up into three main sections: home, live well, and inspire change. Each page has a center content section and a series of panels on either side that change slightly depending upon which page you are on. The "home" page is your main entrance to the site, displaying the most recent company highlights regarding health benefits, health tips, and current events/activities you should know about. The "live well" page is focused on you and your health related activities, and the "inspire change" page brings attention to the opportunities to contribute to your community, volunteering for events, making charitable contributions, and inspiring positive change.

Q: What activities will I be getting and how often will they appear?

Assessments -- appear once per type, one after the other: physical, emotional, and social.
Education -- show after assessments, with new ones appearing after a couple of months.
Tracking -- show after completing new content, are performed periodically, and reset 30 days after starting.
Challenges -- appear on a weekly basis, and can be played several times.

Q: How do the trackers work?

A: Health Trackers are an excellent way to keep your health in check. Understanding how to measure your vital statistics will keep you strong, fit and full of life. Trackers can measure your caloric intake, blood pressure, sleep, water consumption, manage weight and so much more. Most health trackers reset every 30 days starting from the day you begin using the tracker (ex. April 16 through May 15). In order to complete a tracker, a minimum number of daily entries are required, which is indicated with a countdown at the top of the screen in red. The minimum number can vary depending on the tracker. Keep an eye on your competition!

Q: What is a companywide challenge?

A: Your Company has chosen to create fun, friendly, competitive companywide challenges to foster interdepartmental growth and boost momentum among employees. The challenges will vary in topic but they will all have the same purpose, to create change in the workplace environment and increase healthy outcomes. Companywide challenges typically last 30 days and require each participant to make activity entries for a minimum number of unique days (10, 15, 20 days, etc.). Each entry must be submitted on the day it is completed. When the minimum number of entries are successfully made, you will have achieved completion. You are encouraged to continue making entries until the end of the challenge. This contributes to the performance ranking of you and your team. You will also receive participation points for successful completion of the challenge. When teams are involved, team statistics are also available in the wellness portal.

Q: The new month started and my tracker has not reset. Why?

A: Trackers typically run for 30 days from the day they are assigned. So if your your tracker was assigned in the second week of a given month, it will reset in the second week of the next month. The minimum number of entries required is typically 50% or less of the total tracker cycle (30 days), so you will have sufficient time to complete them even if you do not start right away.

Q: My tracker reset, but I did not get any tokens. Why?

A: In order to get awarded tokens for using the tracker, you must make the minimum number of completions, for the specified number of individual days. For instance, if your tracker says in the beginning that you have 10 more to go, that means 10 distinctly separate days of making entries (multiple times in one day counts only as one time). So before the month is up, be sure the counter has gone down to zero. Also, please wait a day or two for the processing to take place and the token count to be updated. Likewise, you can also go to the activity history page to view the history and details of activities you have completed.

Q: I completed an assessment, but can I edit it? When I open it the page just says it is completed.

A: Assessments cannot be edited, due to the dependency on the calculation of your health risk score and other program triggers. So please take your time to answer them truthfully and completely.

Q: What is my score number actually showing me?

A: Each time you successfully complete an activity, you get points added to your score. Some activities add more points than others. So the more activities you finish, the higher your score. Please note that assessments and educational content are considered completed only once and others like trackers can be considered completed once every 30 days for score credit.

Q: I am receiving some e-mail notifications from ABG Care. Can I turn this off?

A: Yes, just go to your profile panel and select "my preferences". Here you can change what notifications you want to receive. You may wish to unselect the new activity assigned notification if you are very active in the site.

Q: Can I choose the type of activity I complete to earn points and Healthy Tokens?

A: The ABG Care site will guide you through a series of questions, educational content, and activities. Participating in these tasks will accumulate Healthy Tokens. As an example, physical wellness allows you to track any physical activity you perform including aerobics, running, softball, tennis, etc.

Q: Can ABG Care help me lose weight?

A: ABG Care can give you the tools to successfully reach your weight loss goals. Through educational content and weight management tools, you can learn how to take control. Utilizing various programs within the system including tracking water intake, calorie counting, activity tracking and weighing yourself regularly, losing and managing your weight will become second nature.

Q: What other kinds of things can the ABG Care site do to help me become healthier?

A: Not only is there plenty to learn about being physically active and managing your weight, but you will also be introduced to educational materials, activity trackers and challenges that help you with your diet, emotional wellness, sleep habits and lifestyle choices. ABG Care can teach you how to reduce stress and alcohol consumption, or eliminate smoking. Additionally, you can participate in weekly challenges, as well as group challenges with your co-workers.

Q: Does this site give any kind of HRA (Health Risk Assessment)?

A: The conventional way a typical HRA is presented is by a very long list of questions that can be tedious and bothersome to fill out. At ABG Care, we break out such questions into multiple assessments spread out over time. Additionally, other information is gathered from your tracker activities and from medical information provided on your profile.

Q: I'm already healthy; how will this program benefit someone like me?

A: Many of you may already be healthy and make wise decisions regarding your well being. This program can help you continue to maintain your current health and drive you to motivate others as they look to succeed in reaching their goals. You can offer helpful hints, recipes, workout routines, and other related advice and as a result even improve your own health and fitness.

Q: Where do I go to change my password, PIN or security question?

A: Changing your password, security question or your PIN may be done at any time from the "my security" menu in your profile panel.

Q: How often will I receive my individual ABG Care progress report?

A: ABG Care provides comprehensive individual reports to each participant. This consists of information about your activities, measures of your progress, and results of your completions. Generally, reports are sent on a bi-weekly basis, depending upon your employer's choice, but you can also look at your current status at any time in the "live well" page, below the center content area.

Q: How do I earn Healthy Tokens?

A: With ABG Care Rewards, you earn Healthy Tokens performing and completing activities assigned to you (see "my activities" in the "my tasks" panel) and completing both individual and group challenges. As your healthy tokens accumulate, you will see a running balance on display in your "my profile" panel.

Q: How can I redeem my Healthy Tokens?

A: As you accumulate healthy tokens for completing activities, they will be periodically transferred to the program rewards vendor (typically on a quarterly basis). Q: How many Healthy Tokens can I earn?

A: Your company will have set an annual reward amount that is communicated to you through your benefits or human resources department. The ABG Care Rewards program makes token allocations spread across the activities of the year based on that total reward amount, so you will be able to earn the maximum by completing all activities. Your company may also choose to run separate challenges or special events that can provide additional bonus reward opportunities to raise your earning potential.

Q: How long will Healthy Tokens remain in my account?

A: Healthy Tokens earned will remain in your account for three years plus the end of a calendar quarter for which they are earned. For example, if you earned 500 healthy tokens in May 2015 and did not cash these healthy tokens in for redemption, they will remain in your account until the end of June 2018. Redeemed and expired healthy tokens will be based on a first-in, first-out process. Go to your token balance display and click "more" to see your earned reward history.

Q: If I close my ABG Care account, can I still redeem my Healthy Tokens?

A:Your ABG Care Rewards account must be open and in good standing in order to redeem Healthy Tokens. Your benefits administrator can offer additional information regarding your unused token balance.

Q: What if I leave my job? Will my account and Healthy Tokens be available for redemption?

A: Unfortunately, no. Once you are no longer employed with your company, your account is inactive and Healthy Tokens are no longer available for redemption.

Q: I do not know what my login credentials are. How can I register for access to the site?

A: Your credentials will have been communicated to you separately by your company, informing you of your username and initial password. If you are not aware of those communications, please contact ABG Care support for assistance.

Q: What do I do if I cannot log into my account?

A: If you are getting a login failed message, you may have forgotten your password. Below the login fields is a "reset password" link that will issue you a temporary password by email. If this does not solve your login problem, please contact ABG Care for assistance.

Q: How do you volunteer for events? I am not sure where to look.

A: The "inspire change" page is all about volunteering and contributing to your local community. You will find an available events display that you can search for finding volunteering opportunities. You can also learn about how volunteering is provided on the site by visiting the How It Works guide.
